Smoky Valley Amateur Radio Club is a Community Centric Organization that provides Communications and other Community Services during times of Community Emergencies and Severe Weather conditions. SVARC also provides information and activities of general interest to Hams or to anyone who may wish to become a licensed Ham radio operator. SVARC is especially happy to provide help to newcomers or to hams that are new to the Dickinson County area.

The Smoky Valley Amateur Radio Club has been in operation for over 50 years, having been formed in March of 1957. SVARC is also a member of the Amateur Radio Relay League and serves the the Dickinson County Kansas area utilizing the K0AAC repeater on 145.33 mHz.

SVARC Information Nets are held on Monday evening at 7 P.M. local time and Emergency Nets are called by the authorized Net Control as the local situation dictates.

The K0AAC repeater is run in open format and welcomes all repeater users and their financial support.

All of those participating in the K0AAC Net should be familiar with our net procedures which are located elsewhere on this site.
